18" leon cupra r wheels with tyres ???????

can anyone give me a idea on what they are worth please for a set of 4 with tyres ? the rear are like new with perelli rosso tyres 4-5 mm of tread and the fronts have falken tyres with 3-4 mm of tread with slight wear on the inside plus the front wheels have some small marks on them i want to put them in the for sale section at the right price rather than try to rip people off before they go on ebay cheers! ant

iv seen just one wheel and tyre go for more than £180 ?? on ebay but like iv said im not out to rip people off but at the same time i would like to price them right in the forsale section before i put them on ebay

4-5mm is not like new and 3mm is just about had it.

As for the wheel though, I would have said they are definately more more than £350. The only way to find out is to put them up though. Search the bay for sold items.

I've seen knackered ones with barely legal tyres go for £550 before now! And I've been offered £400 for my 17" FR+ wheels so £350 is quite out of it unless you happen to stumble on a bargain!

I sold 4 of mine without tyres. The lacquer was peeling but they were all straight for £400.

My fifth spare alloy with brand new tyre in mint condition went for £200 this week.

They are hard to come by and it's a buyers market. A single wheel new is £355 ish and tyres will be extra.

If all the tyres have a bit of tread on as you say I'd say at least £500.


PS: Johnboy also just got £225 for one of his with P-Zero 4-5mm tyre on ebay. Postage was not included.

Most people are not too bothered about second hand tyres, so don't expect to get much, if anything for them.

A good set without tyres will fetch £450 - £500... a good set with good tyres could fetch up to £50 more, depending on the make of the tyres and obviously having a decent amount of tread.

Bear in mind, not many people rate the Rosso's so probably wouldn't be too bothered if they were included or not, and as already mentioned re: 3mm tread, they've just about had it anyway.

I've bought & sold a few sets of LCR alloys (bought a set for my FR, then sold them when I got my LCR, then bought another set as spares / winter wheels, then sold them as I didn't think I needed them, then bought another set to put on the car while I had mine refurbished... ) and the "going rate" seems to be around £150 per wheel sold as a single spare (regardless of whether it has a tyre or not) or as I said earlier, £500 for the set (again, regardless of whether they have tyres or not).

Who said 350 silly billy . . put them on ebay mate i paid bowt 550 3 months ago they did have brand new tyres but needed resprayin ..imo there the best wheels seat av done and wouldnt change them on any leon !
