Engine indicator light. need an advice!!!!

Hi.
Driving this lovely car.
Everything was OK so far. But, but....
Today on my way home the orange engine indicator light went on.
Any ideas what would it mean? I haven't noticed any changes on the car's behaviour since it happened. Not sure whether is it safe to drive it or not.

in more detail please? Is it something that i have to go after to the garage?

you could go to a garge and have them to put it on a fault code reader for you or try and find someone in your area that well put it on vag com for you

Hi lads.
Suddenly this light went off today.

sounds like an intermittent fault just sorted mine but it could be all manner of things, like preveious email said post where you are lad and some one with vag com will see if the fault is still there, if you go to the stealers they will charge about £40 od quid just to read the faults.
