Im still happy saving my self the £25 and £20 in fuel. If they specialise in CC and the likes i cant see why they would be worse than a VAG specialist who might /might not do it that often but who knows. Although if it is a bad job i will let you know as hopefully the guy wont mind me watching as i am interested in how its all done.

CC works on 99% of VAGs woith DBW throttle, Cupra R's never had it fitted, not even as an option AFAIK.
And this fellas is a Cupra not an R.

Mine has CC fitted and the guy I bought it off said it was added as an option

£65 for stalk & loom on ebay from a VW dealer..

I fitted the Ibiza's without any instruction & it worked first time. piece of piss.

doing my parents octavia shortly with said kit from ebay - it's certainly not £100 of work

Ive been thinking about doing this for a while, and i agree, doesnt look like £100 worth of labour.

The only thing im worried about is taking off the steering wheel. Is it really simple? Can i mess up the air bag by doing it?
