just in the garage doing mine now lol. got an old pc from work in here for music/internet etc :) very handy when i have faults!.. anyways

i'ev took the coils out, moved the intake pipe out on the way and lightly sanded the surface to get rid of built up cr*p. then polished heavily! about half way there. looking loads better :)

Think I will take it off this weekend, Might buy/make a cover box for it though (CF or chrome?)

Here is mine. I also removed the jacket as it was simply ugly, replaced the fuses on top and voila

Just spoke to my bro about the jacket and he said its to stop the battery from freezing up, something to do with how new batteries are

Here on the picture, on the left of the battery down the side is where I located them.

If you wanna do this myki tha pyki did somewhat of a guide, and in my readers ride thread (link) I explain it somehwere as well. Very easy.

Mind, Myki and myself did polish the covers ourselves, as we didn't choose pre chromed/polished ones as they tend to rust.

no, they stay there on their own, stuck behind some other wires and the plus cable you run from battery to the fusebox.

After a 2hr engine detail...

Thinking of changing the scheme in the near future.

I used to have the jacket on my battery, i could only think that its for insulation during the winter months?
