1.6 should I get superchip fitted and a remap?

i need some help ive got a 1.6 16v leon i want to know would it be worth it havin a superchip fitted and a remap if i did what sought of gains would i get and what wud it cost thanks

Lookin at the £200-£250 mark dude, and to be onest, you will be lucky to see 10bhp if that, throttle response and torque will improve somewhat but thats it.

I toyed with the idea for a while, but save the cash for lowering or wheels?

not much then really im saving for some amg wheels seen thm on fleabay for 400 look well nice would also need to lower as it does ride high and wobble lol

Fully colour coded, cupra splitter, lowered, cupra rims, stealth zaust, front upper and lower strut braces, induction, gloss black engine cover, dog bone mount, civic aerial, and cupra interior!!

Haha iv been busy, had the car just over a year.

so whats the deal with the lower front strut whats that do for the car and whats a dog bone (not what you give ya dog i suppose)

Just stiffens things up further really, they are easy to make, so my mate made me one, gives a noticeable difference tho, car corners really well.

Dog bone is the bottom engine mount, made out of polyurethane, which again is stiffer and stops engine wobble, at £15 its a cheap and easy mod.

they on ebay u think i had a look at the fr bumbers they look nice kinda prefer them to the LCR ones been told tho that i would have to replace the front wheel arch liners do you know if this is true or not

Depends what you want from your car.

all I'll say is, normally aspirated engines won't see the big improvements that a turbocharged engine would give with just a remap.
