Hi mate I am running on a stage 2 revo with standard intercoolers, they say its worth while getting a front mount when going for a stage 2 though - I just didn't have the extra cash at the time

I have...ran thru the summer ok, was only impacted on the hottest of hot days...

you wont need a fmic for stage 2 on a cupra. it will help you get the most from the power during the summer though.

mine made 242bhp with just a sports cat/downpipe with a stage 2 remap. theres not much more to squeeze out of the k03s.
but definatly get a custom stage 2 map... for the extra cash youll get better results from your new zorst.

Can you advise me in what I can do with my cupra.Have not had it long.
was looking at a stage 1 re map with Revo.Any good ?

Ozzy,

Before you remap, you should seriously consider a couple of minor mod's:

DV (most favoured by SCN is the Forge 007P)
Induction (various options, but you should consider assisting the breathing)

If limited by funds / insurance then Stg.1 is a good start, will realise ~ 15-25 more BHP straight off the bat.

I chose to get as much done before I remapped, purely so that I got the most from it.

The map was the last thing I did after all the mod's listed in my sig.

Have a nose around on the various Re-Map sites / suppliers and see which one you like the read of most.
Also have a nose around the forum, as this topic is fairly regular on here.
Also see if you can get along to some of the meets, and ask a nice fella SCN'er to take you our for a spin so you can get a feel for what you'll get for your money.

Hope that helps.

PS - As per Lodgey - Revo & APR do 5/6hr free trials...always worth a go??!

what he said:)

yea and the 4 bar fuel regualtor to but after that ill go for it.... i spoke to p torque and asked them what boot i would be running and they emailed me back saying Boost varies slightly, as your car will need a custom map due to the exhaust system. You'll run approx 1.4bar on overboost. With a full exhaust, we can make approx 230bhp and 265lbs/ft torque.
if thas wright 1.4bar which is what 17-20psi????

It was a 4 hour drive each way for me.

I think it boosts to about 21psi. I'm still on standard exhaust and I made 230bho and 245lb/ft
