Where to buy a MK2 Leon Cupra? Best deals?

Hey folks!

I might be joining you Leon owners soon - I have owned 2 Ibiza Cupra's in the past, one a 2001(mk3) and a 2006(mk4) both lovely cars.
I may be selling my Ibiza Cupra soon though, as I really like the Leon Cupra.

I've seen a few around (I only want one in black) just wondered in this state of economy are the dealers doing good deals? I went to the local dealer and was basically told it would be £19,000+ for a new Cupra - quoting me straight from the catalogue!

If that's the case i'd obviously look at 'nearly new' , what do they go for, 12k?13k? lower mileage ones?

Thanks in advance! :)

The way things are financially at the moment, there is absolutely no way you would want to pay the list price. By all accounts Irfan seems to be the cheapest for a new car.

I wouldn't recommend going new on a Cupra in the current climate they loose too much money.

You could get a year old one for around £14K at the moment, maybe even less as they don't seem to be shifting at all.

I got the mp3/ipod kit, believe the bi-xenons where standard on the earlier cupras but the dealer re-sprayed the wheels dark grey for me as they had a few minor scratches on them! plus ordered me the new all black grill so very happy!

This is a good price and you'll find some have extras too. Just go else where to get it serviced if you don't like AC.

You should try owning an RX-8 :(
Mmmmm, I like those. Depreciation will make you think twice IMO. Local Mazda dealer (Before I decided on a Focus RS), was selling a brand new and unregistered RX8-R3 for £18995. It's a shame that as soon as you turn the key and drive it away, it will loose a further £8K in the first year again...

Thanks for the input guys, i'll speak to Arnold Clark about one...

RCS> Thanks mate, although when im spending that much, i'd rather get a new one or nearly new with less miles, my current car only has 20k on it and its 3 years old.
