Good wash in warm water several times, and a hoover is all it needs.

But admit, it is a pain to do with the Strut brace in the way.

I have a PiperX in mine which runs without oil.

I washed it once and just swilled it out once in the sink with warm water.

I WOULD NOT use any sort of detergent like soap or washing up liquid.

Make sure its 100% dry before refitting too.

How do you remove it with the strut brace on?

Is there a trick to it?

yeah i know there are other otions, but green always seem to be the choice of people, just wondered if anyone used different.

I just like the colour

Just kidding. Green do have a good reputation. To be honest you won't really go wrong with the big brands. They will be an improvement over the standard filter!

good video that too.... yeah i had a green filter on previous car.. bought cheap off ebay, got a right deal... if i can find a cheap one green is what i will have... 40-50 quid seems abit expensive for a filter.. im a tight bas*ard though hahaha

Oh great will be doing this next week bought a cleaning kit for my green filter. Can't remember the torque for the strut brace may just bung it back on!

Tighten til your knuckles go white lol. Thats what I've always done and had no problems at all :D iirc you are supposed to re-oil after its been cleaned, but I've not cleaned mine yet in 11 months.
