light switch

anyone know how to remove the light switch from my leon?
it might be linked the the dash light problem i have.

i recall it being mentioned before in another thread as:
twist a bit further than do to turn on lights and pull

though i would search and see what results you get to clarify my knowledge

its push in turn clockwise then pull (i did a search)
still can,t get the sodding thing out tho.

ok,garage looked at it...some one has tryed to remove it before and stuffed it up.
need a new one now.
