 the picture isnt real dude, but the wheel did fall off.

Hoping to get it in a few days before the 1st Feb to allow some time to bed it in before Santa Pod.

Shouldnt be too much of a problem, as im having it fitted at my dads place and when i rang helix they had the parts in stock.

Also forgot to mention,

Thanks to BKR for giving me a set of wheel bolts to replace those scattered accross the M62, in exchange for buying his meal at the next meet. Saved me a fair few quid on that one.

Only thing i can really think of is that someone has got it in for me, or tried thieving my wheels and been desturbed.

Also decided on my clutch setup at last.

Going for the helix setup with single mass flywheel, as i plan on going big turbo in the summer. Before anyone tells me that the flywheel will be noisy, i know. Ive been in, and heard from outside, another PD130 with this setup, and i will be able to live with it.

That's a bit worrying fella! Hope no one is trying to kill you!

That clutch setup you're going for is awesome. Really strong and lovely feel. Bloody heavy pedal and stupidly low biting point but it's SO strong. :)

Had a quick drive in sparky's and felt good to me so decided on that as iant be bothered with replacing flywheels at £300 a pop.

Yep checked the rest and they were fine.
Slight bit of damage on inside of the wheel but nothing too serious.
Tyre was fine, just a tiny patch on the surface of the tread but thats worn off already.
Its also folded the lip of the arch under a bit bit can sort that for next to nothing anyway.
Not sending it in for any paint until i get a facelift bumper though.

Is that how much they are?! Mine could do with one eventually as this one shudders if you drive "lazy" but is fine otherwise so aren't too bothered atm....

Might have found myself a lovely cheap blower though! :D ;)

Yeh the alloys are 16's. I did consider going for 17's but prefer the 16's personally.
As for the coilovers, there great. The ride is firm but i do have mine set on the hardest damping setting and wound all the way down all round. When they were slightly higher with softer damping, the ride was better than standard. Doesnt take much doing though as the standard sport suspension is shocking.

and for safety incase another wheel decides to go for a roll about lol

looking good

 Thats the one dude. Wasnt really feeling the 3 wheels on my wagon thing.

Clutch Time

Right its update time again.

Clutch has been slipping for a while now and ive finally given in.

Ordered myself a Helix setup from awesome.

I decided to go with the single mass flywheel as im not bothered about the noise, and with plans to go down the big turbo route later in the year, thought it would be the more sensible option.

Think the total for parts came to £871.71.

Would also like to say thanks to Sarah at awesome for sorting it out for me. Very friendly helpful service.

Just hope it gets here in time for Thursday as its booked in at my dads place for fitting.

All going well it should be fitted and bedded in, in time for sunday at Santa Pod. :)

Yours does the same annoying thing as mine, you rev it to nearly the limiter and it holds the revs for a few seconds before it lets go....

You can hear it at 8/9 seconds left on your video...

Its crap isnt it. Ah well. Just cant wait to get my clutch in now as im fed up of easing in the power up to 3k.

tom do ya still have the under tray on to lower yours all the way down with 16's on iv got about about another 40mm till mine are right down but under tray will scrap and for the standard sports suspension its not the best in the world.my coilovers are only fks and they dont feel as bad as the standard ones

Yep the undertray is still on. It is very low to the ground though. Think i have 3 threads left on either side but thats only a couple of mm.
Im running FK's too. Which ones you got? Highsports by any chance?
I went for the sport edition plus as they were not much more and had adjutable damping. Highsports may possibly go slightly lower?
