so any ideas or pointers anyone?i may have a little something up my sleeve but that maybe reveled on teusday

I'm pretty sure there's a drain plug on the gearbox.

You need to get gearbox oil. Castrol do one, or if you're feeling flush then the Redline oils are meant to be very good.

C-kid - last 2 i have done have been dry but tilt it up to be safe as the cap is lower than the fill bung, gearbox only holds a few litres anyway and if you do spill any the bung you see in the pic can be easily topped up

just looking at your rich - not seen the box before - that end cover looks similar to mine at that end

your cable goes out and down and back towards the bulkhead - looks manual too and adjusted right up but your fault could be: stretched cable / dreaded pedal box / knackered release bearing+plate

gonna be a job to say without looking inside but looks piss easy compared to some to be honest

the bearing lever assy splines in similar to DPJ's one but is held in 2 places and usually stronger but if it has slipped/broke i'd have thought you wouldn't get any clutch at all really

the noises ya getting are they changing when you pedal it ? thrust bearings worn out usually rattle more when off pedal then the pressure seem to quieten em off

might have found a pic for ya
