Thanks, is well worth doing and only takes a few minutes. Good luck on the sideskirts :D

Thanks mate. Looks like it will be a good job to do. Think I will have to get some white tiger seal for along the top edge of the skirt.

Did yo u just stick the skirt onto the black bit thats on the car already? you know the bit that has the small arrows/triangles showing where the jacking points are??

And did you put the tiger seal on the clips on the skirt? And Im guessing the end of the skirt goes into the end cap?

Just want to get as much information before I fit them.

Yeah basicaly the open end goes at the back and the end with cap already molded onto it goes at the front. I put tiger seal on everything lol and then along the top edge. Is quite a messy job. I fixed the rear end cap with some screws and a lot of tigerseal.

On everything??

Thanks mate, just want to make sure I have as much information as possible before I fit them, want to get it right. Im going to rivet the rear end cap to the car and put tigerseal on it aswell, better to be safe than sorry.

How many tubes of tigerseal did you use?

tubes? its a massive tube mate, i used like a 10th of it lol, got loads left!
just tigerseal the bottom, the top, and anything that makes contact, you will see when you get them!
and i would use black tigerseal on the sideskirts! but as you have a white car it makes you think?

Alright cheers. It does make you think having a white car about the colour of the tigerseal . If I went black it would look like it was part of the skirt. If it was white it would look like part of the car . Think black would be the best option though.

Thanks man, i think the stance is pretty much perfect and the rims. hmm wanting some 9" a's atm lol.

Think a set of 20mm spacers on the back would finish it off.

Right I just want to make sure about these skirts.

PICT0021-1.jpg

Im guessing I put tigerseal on the clips in the red boxes (bottom edge) and the flat bits in the red boxes (top edge).

PICT0022.jpg

And do the clips go over this lip which is on the underside of the car?

And should the top of the skirt be level with the end of the back bit on the side of the car?

And before anyone says I know that the skirt and my car need washed!!

Yeah i think black would be your best option as your putting it on end caps and stuff.

Think I will go with black. I may be able to help you with the 20mm spacers.

well mine already had the skirts on it (but one broke) so i put the skirt over the clips that should be attached to the car, and then took it off and tigersealed the top of the skirt (the will run flush with the side of the car) and the clips that go over the seal at the bottom of the car, can you undo the screws?(mine were rusted, and couldn't be bothered drilling them through and putting fresh ones in, that should be the suggested way, so you can loosen them clips and position them correctly over the seal of the car!)

and i'd suggest cleaning all the crap from then inside of the sideskirt, cos my mate noticed when washing his old car which he brought skirts for all the dirt was running when he just washed his car (just saves time later mate)

The clips are on the skirt but the screws are fairly rusty, was going to push them tighter together, tigerseal them then put them on. Will that work?? Im going to clean the skirts and that lip under the car.

The bolts come with the spacer, you bolt the spacer to the hub then the wheel to the spacer. Got some measurements to take when I fit my Oz's but i doubt i will be able to run them.
