Would anyone know if the 2 bolts holding the front bumper on that sit behind the rubbing strip can be left out? I'm about to fit the intercooler next week and don't wanna have to take the bump strip back off as they will be getting sprayed in next couple of months.

Cheers

Awesome, I've just sorted it now... My bump strip didnt want to come off all the easy so trying to save some hassle for the next time it comes back off.

Cheers guys

Rogers... How did you smooth yours as i'm currently in the process of smoothing my bumpers and the bumpstrips were next on my list.

i didnt smooth it, i gave the bumper to my panel beater mate who plastic welded the lines out, and the plate recess with a piece and with a light skim over it, so i wouldnt know the exact tecnique he used!

you really wouldnt know did a awesome job fair play,

all i know is you must plastic weld them not just fill as it will sink and crack

You do know the grill is merely plastic welded to the actual bumper and shouldnt be used as a holding point at all, its only bolted on to stop it flaping not to hold any weight.

Wouldnt wonna be you lot going over a pot hole then running over your bumper

Well it wouldnt make much difference then if i just smoothed the stipple effect on the bumpstrip and got it sprayed the same colour as the car.

But the car looks mint mate well done
