Thats my thinking to mate, yeah stage 1 map is mad cant wait to see what hybrid be like. i think you prob get yours done before me so you can experiment and let me know, lol. unless jabba can get me straight in. Forge are the ones holding me up at mo.

I didnt know they did two styles they didnt give option when i ordered ??? Jabba seem to think forge one be fine. doesn't cover radiator as much so air can cool that to, i think the seat sport one is so big it blocks it almost completly. looks good though.

The air goes through them though! :lol: The air con rad is as big as the coolant rad! :lol:

The little Forge cooler is ok....although the temps do get a bit high! The SS cooler run at nearly half the temperatures of the little forge one...
 
:lol: I spoke to forge today and they only do one style. :lol: Also got good news, my turbo arrived back from TD so chased forge and they sending intercooler out today. so booked in with jabba sports for 4th june :funk: Cant wait now :D

Forge are prototyping a new intercooler. It's not out just yet but is meant to be soon - bigger and better than the current one. I hope you didnt buy the forge cooler new? :cry:
 
I got it in a group buy lets just say i had a good price :D I had £2900 to spend on this conversion and lets say i have few hundred left over from all bargings i got :funk: hmmm whats next :D

I talked to Jabba today when booked car in they said they have i ibiza in the workshop when i go down that has the Single mass flywheel in, he said i could listen to rattle sound and see if i want that setup instead aswell as lightened flywheel for better performance. happy i chose them to do car :funk:

Jabba do seem pretty good. They're just flat out with work apparently. The only reason I went for Helix and SMF is because it's got highest torque capacities and the SMF will help with cutting transmisson losses. Plus I want to run it up the 1/4 mile a few times so want something that's gonna be good at getting stick. :lol:
 
No was just curiouse, what thread is vid on? Just been reading your thread that your gonna have to drive up with hybrid fitted to get mapped. Hope you dont damage anything. I am getting whole lot done in one go.

Nothing will get damaged as long as i drive sensibly. If I booted it all the way there i'd have problems! :lol:
