Hi guys. Ive had a little bump and scuffed my front bumper and popped the indicator and my wings are have a few dents in too. So what i thought was replace it all with mk 3 parts. The only thing i cant decide is weather to go for the cupra bumper or not as mines only a 1.4 i dont realy want people to ask me if its a cupra. And also what has to be done to the wiring for the lights. Any help would be great!

Cheers!

the mk3 front end REALLY suits, there's been a couple on here and a few cordys too.

I believe you need the wings, slam panel and bumpers but i might be missing something its only from memory :s

Mk3 slam panel, bonnet, wings, bumpers, headlights, grille. You need to modify the slam panel or drill extra holes to hold the Mk2 Rad, could be worth looking at a Mk3 rad and seeing where the inlet and outlet holes are. If they the same then a Mk3 rad maybe??

If you going to do the Mk3 you might as well make it the Cupra bumper because it looks much nicer and for these who know they Ibiza's should notice it's a Mk2 well Mk2.5 by then :)

Wiring the headlights should be easy enough, just get some wiring diagrams if possible or label the wires on the Mk2 loom and the wires on the Mk3 headlights before removing.

Thinking of all of the parts needed I could have made mine the Mk3 front end because all them parts above I had brand new from the dealer to get the snot back on the road lol..... Gotta keep mine "old skool" tho :)

Does anybody know if the mk3 rear bumper will fit too? I think i would just pay somebody to wire up the headlights and fogs if i go ahead with the plan!

Lol if you're doing the front and the back just buy a mk3?

the back of the Mk2 looks better anyway :D

tailgate and lights are different so you will need a mk3 rear panel modded into the rear 1/4's too

not impossible though

Completely forgot about the plate reces being in the bumper on the mk3 just liked the idea of the bump strips matching on the front and rear. Back to the drawing board haha!

Colour code the bump strips on the front! Or remove the bump strips on the Mk3 bumper and smooth them, seen it done a few times!

Problem solved! :)

There is a red MK3 in alpha-cars think it only needs wing and front light might be worth a look...

I was meaning i liked the idea of the black bump strips but i would like them on the rear to match. Ive been down there yeah. They have a silver one too but the only things i could use are a wing and headlight off it. I was going to try and get silver to match the car to save painting costs! i think il just wait and buy it all a bit at a time!
