It will draw in so much hot air where it is without a large cold air feed and cause you to loose power.....

You wonte blow up your engine but it wonte be doing it any good.

my advice, go to dealer's and get new engine cover, fit a performance panel filter if you really want one. An open cone filter will only give you noise and problems on that engine model
