Best way to get cold air feed to filter in LCR? (updated)

Yes, i'll fit the largest possible which seems to be around 3".

I got recently a Pipercross Velocity Induction kit which goes past the battery & sits just below the headlight.Waiting to add a feed from the vents next for more air.Bitch to fit but what a result.I cant figure out how to put pictures on soz

You need 15 posts before you can add pictures, then you need to add them to an image hoster such as photbucket, fotki etc.

Here is my feed round both sides of battery to front upper grill,Bit of a squuze on right of battery but not too bad.
I have gone underneath the filter though as its a bigger feed then on the secondary pump.

Tonight i have had another play, i am using the bottom half of the airbox then im gunna build a heatshield on this, to block most of the heat from the engine, with the 3" cold air feed in the bottom of the box.....

and some sheets of carbon fibre...

Sounds a bit more grunty when you put your foot down not much difference performance wise to be honest

Fit an open cone and a feed

Do it for the sound or under bonnet bling

The performance gain will be negligable

Well this is my plan. As the Neuspeed kit is for an Audi TT, the secondary airpump plug on the heat shield is not in use on the Leon so I want to try and stick and extra airfeed there from the grille. It's only about 1.5" but should help a little more.

it has to be tight or you wont be able to select gears, i did the same but it kept catchin on the shifter and it was promptly removed

Performance a bit more reactive as soon as u put the foot down plus a nice note but u hear above all the sucksion & sounds like a Dump Valve when u realease
