Audi TT / Octavia VRS will fit

gives you slightly bigger disks that are vented too

If you're going for fast road discs & pads up front it's always worth doing the same for the rear brakes.

Keep them them standard as I think it about 40% braking on the rears.
60:40 is more typical of a track setup than a road, on the panda it was about 80:20 stock. The ideal situation for maximum braking power is that you lock the rear wheels up a fraction after the front wheels, however this is far from forgiving if you need to start braking hard mid-corner, not even ABS & ESP is likely to save you then.

won't you need a whole new caliper set-up for that given that vented discs are twice as wide as solid discs? also new carriers cos the diameter is bigger?

Get the cheapest nastiest ones you can get from a motor factor; they don't work hard enough as the fronts are doing all the work so you want something that will wear fast so that the discs have a chance of keeping clean. :( Also cheap to replace when the discs rust up. There is some much bias on the front of these cars that the rears must do more like 25-30% with the AP on the front. The rears drag a little but mostly stop the back end from slipping/sliding/locking.. as at that point you spin the car.
