got rear wishbone tt bushes.. very good upgrade on lc.

s3 upper and lower requires no bushes... 22mm arb comes with all necessary bushes.

tt subframe bushes worth it, bit costly iirc around 75 quid

other than that id say youll be okay with stock bushes tbh.

new topmounts always good aswell.

Nice one James, much appreciated, will let you know how it all pans out :funk:

...And I suppose the other question would be: does a harder bush make a harsher ride?
TBH thats why I stayed away from the powerflex on both wish bone bushes. Initially I had a power flex bush in the rear wish bone, it was very good and even after 50,000 miles still looked in good nick.
I've stuck with rubber but feel that I will change these soone for poly when the car is more extreme

just fitted powerflex rear bushes into brand new wishbones. The ride is slightly harder but the car now seems better in corners so its all good.

Yeah I suppose for a track car you'd want to have as little compromise as possible, so poly bushes would probably be the first choice for you from now on?

I'll have to have a look at the INA stuff, as well as the TT bushes, and the two engine mounts of course. That's the thing with rubber bushings - it's not just miles, but also age that deteriorates them. I wonder how long it will be before we all need to change our dogbone mounts with the power that we are transmitting through it...

Yup, will be interesting to see this and yes compromise and comfort are not longer words I plan to use for my car.
Was thinking about fitting the track engine mount but have other things closer to the top of the VERY big list that grows every day.

The to do list scares me, not really the list more the cost.
Got a few big purchases still to pay for like Diff, TBE, cage, perspex windows, lighter panels, lighter alloys
SCARY cost

Yep, and racing seats, harness etc. Good project though, just hope you can keep the waftmobile costs to a minimum so you can carry on improving your LCR :)

Yup it aint cheap but nothing is cheap to track.
At least its a strong and reliable.
Was going to get a Pulsar but they can be money pits.
+ and - in everything

hey mate,

i was going for the Neuspeed rear arb (23mm), would i need to get rear bushes then?or will it come with them?i know that it comes with a fitting kit but i dont know what the 'kit' consists of.

and as for the top mounts, any specific brand?or are just replacement LCR ones good enough?

oem lcr are fine in topmounts for road use

neuspeed will come with the arb bushes included in the kit aswell

and i think they only do 25mm or 28mm aswell.

cheers

the size doesnt bother me, 25mm would be fine. i read somewhere that there was a 23mm, but that was probably another brand i guess,il double check on that.

so they come with the arb bushes, but would i need a rear beam bush or will that come in the kit too?i was looking at powerflex's website and they offer the rear bushes too

wont need rear beam bush for the arb... comes with everthing in the kit.

rear bushes arent for the arb though, they are rear beam bushes.
