Doh- New stereo fitted, CD magazine no longer has power

Is there a manual way of ejecting the CD magazine?
Removing the new stereo and powering up the old is just too painful

Connect the old stereo to an external 12v battery with the CD changer cable attached and eject it. You may knacker it if you prize it out as some of the mechanisms sound like they are controlled using electric motors.

Just pull the new one out.
