Hi can anyone confirm these figures are correct for a stock LCR 225 - 221bhp, 206lbft, 150mph, 6.7s to 60? Sourced from Parkers

Yeh there correct, its 225PS not HP, same as megane sport, 225PS, and the clio 182, 182PS.

225PS = 221.92199276HP

The Tourque is also correct from many spec's of the LCR that ive read.

Reason for the topic i didnt think the figures looked entirely correct being parkers I was wondering how my car compared with standard when it was rolling roaded the other day as it made 228 BHP and 229 lbft. Dyno lottery and all i know but sounds like the few mods i had on could have made that noticeable difference - green filter, cold ducting, forge 007p and tip always running tesco 99ron, mobile 1 5w30 esp and NGK iridiums.

The theory behind them would suggest so but i imagine its marginally better efficiency and longer lasting life

Do plugs make much difference?

We have had this discussion back when i had a 50CC bike on how effective an iridium plug would be, they will never really gain any actual power on there own, but burn the fuel more efficently hence you get a silighty increased throttle response, if you was to use them on a remapped car where the fueling is better it may increase efficiency but not power.
