That's a good point! May as well take it out then! Dammit, will be needing to buy a new one, or hope that if I get a puncture that it's on the rear. Dammit again!
have to plonk steely on the back and swap a wheel from the back if you gota front punture.

If your looking for weight saving then carbon bonnet is way down the line.
If you looking for an excuse to get a carbon bonnet then weight saving is a good one, lol
yeah id love a carbon bonnet but unfortuneatly way toooo expensive for me!when i get it out and i find the scales ill put the weight up

well, I got rid of the spare tyre and replaced it with one of those cans. Im not going to strip the interior, however placing the battery where the spare tyre used to be might come this spring.
My car is my hobby and thats why I fiddle with these little things, also after some trackdays this year Im kinda hooked
On an A3/S3 they claim to save 25-30lbs roughly 12kg. Besides on my black LCR I think it also would look ok..
Even if you don't want to strip out the interior you can remove the fire proof matting the would save you about 25-30 Kgs without changing the look of the interior
