ABF Radiator, Dimensions?

I would be very surprised if it is the headgasket tbh. When I had the hole in my coolant tank and when the car got to running temp/pressure the coolants absolutely p out the hole.

Ended up running the car on just water to get home and my headgasket etc is all fine. I have some signs of condensation but none of the head gasket.

don't worry i had visions of you just putting it all together after a major strip that was all

over heated possibly but i would guess when the hose came off you stopped pretty soon after with all the steam etc ?

yeah i stopped like 2 secs up the road (where safe to stop) reattached the pipe, filled with just pure water (the massive robinsons cordial bottles, is it 5litres maybe?) i always keep one for just that what happened! it was half full though, so say 2.5litres

well i am not bringing car back over christmas, so when i get back over new years, will top up with some 5w40 (what i put in when i changed oil)

then will see if the oil light comes on, or when my uncle is back from india, try and do a head pressure test!

i hope it hasn't gone, too much hassle doing all the work!

i know kezz, alot of bad luck for me atm, i'm at a point when i have fixed it to sell it (you know how its like, i probably won't as i will fall in love again lol)

what bits have you got? i might need some parts if the head has gone lol
oiii and you don't owe me nothing kezz, i said you wasn't to know about the shocks

ok i got an idea from my uncle (who came back from india)
i explained him what happened, and that i changed the breather pipe as it just ripped, he said it was ripped ages ago, but totally forgot to tell me (when i did a service about 3-4months ago)
so he said when i changed the pipe, the pressures in the system must of went back to normal which has made the oil go down, so he said top it up (i used 5W40 i know that for sure) and see from there, so it might not be bad after all, as my rad is now clamped in, and i might not have a head problem! so i won't know until i go back to cov as my car was left there, fingers crossed
