right then chaps i have finally got round to finishing my mirror cover thought i would share some pics of it so you can dont think its bad for a first attempt just started doing my new drivers stubby mirror.

no did not get round to finishing fuel flap as i broke the mould so i need to make a new one

maybe just finding it a pain to wrap the carbon fibre around the bottom bar on the mirror but nearly got it on my new drivers stubby mirror today so we shall have to see

what i might do next month when its payday is buy a couple of sets of mirrors (big drivers + small passagerside) and have another few attempts at wrapping mirror in one go

its not to hard to make the mould hoping to get the new one made up tommorow after vw festival. it only broke as been on decorating and paint pot landed bang straight in the middle of the mould just my luck

that is 2x2 twill weave its the 170g weave is its much easier to work with
