Seat badge front and back

iv seen in quite a few piccies that the seat badge on the front and read are black and i think this really looks 'the shizz'

this could be a stupid question but is it just a case of rubbing it down and giving it a spray with some paint or have most people replaced it with a new grill that comes with a black badge?

some people spray it with gloss, others use vinyl to cover over it!

I think the code is SE08C05, well thats whats on the delivery note! When I ordered I just spoke to Dave at Seremotors and asked for black leon grill, his very helpful ordered it Thursday turned up Saturday.
Cost was £39.50 inc p+p

Personally think it looks allot better than the chrome, I also snapped one of the clips when taking the chrome one off opps! lol

Just wondered how you did your badge? Love the black and red combo. Was it vinyl or painted? Have you done the same for the rear badge?



**Also to everyone else, how do you go about removing the rear badge?

cheers, i done it with paint.
i didnt bother keying it just a clean and then spray, hasnt chipped or flaked yet. if you decide on paint let it dry for a few hours before putting it back on.

i havent done the rear yet, due to the weather i dont want to be standing out in the rain making sure no one goes in my car whilst the lock is off.

I keyed mine up & used acrylic aerosol paint.

Mines been done for about 2yr now & I've had a few chips on the front, nothing a touch can't fix.
