I was going to but dont fancy breaking it. I know a few people off here have changed aerials.
Yeah, i plan on doing mine soon, so far havent done it myself, but read a few things. Have a search for the anti-theft ariel, see what the others did.
As above pull pretty hard and twist at the same time, while holding the base on the roof with your other hand.
