its my speed signal wire for my apexi comes out of the abs unit were factory sat nav plums in as i do have a speedo on the gearbox

5V regulator... should switch quick enough I think for your needs.

maybe consider a voltage divider, which will just ratio the input voltage which is a variable one (or possibly pwm) into the range which the apexi can see..

you are not after a dc-dc regulator, just to ratio down the over voltage out of the abs ecu to the apexi
