I had to get mirrors painted whilst on the car as well because they wouldn't fold in to get the covers off because they're too seized!

my drivers mirror is seized but not the passenger one. i cant get the drivers side cover off to put on my chrome ones haha. must have been very awkward to paint them on the car. turned out very well anyway.

Thanks mate! I should have added an extra coat of red and another coat of lacquer i think because they look slightly orangey in the sun. Will add a few more on the side strips to see if it's a better match!

Just got it out of the garage after a few days and noticed a clicking noise when i turned so checked it out and the front left suspension spring has broken Anyone know if it's safe to drive on for the moment and how much a new one would cost, as well as how hard to fit they are? Thanks

do not drive on a broken spring mate! all it takes is for it to rip ur tyre n u cud cause a fatal accident, dont drive it till its fixed, good excuse for lowering springs or better coilies

Ok it's retiring now then! How much would a set of lowering springs cost do you think? I might just get another standard one till i get some more cash!

I already have a standard one on its way and aren't sure how to get them fitted so will have to pay probably over £100 for that and don't have a job I know it will still cost me to have one done but wont be so much!

I'm thinking of putting facelift bumpers on but was wondering if it would look OK without being lowered and with the 16" Sport wheels?

I wouldnt bother paying all that for facelift bumpers, you can get a set of FR front grills and debadged centre and an LCR splitter and it transforms the front end completely. As for the rear im not sure what could be done but changing bumpers is a headache.

If your interested im selling all of the above items, just taken them off my ibiza as im selling today for a Leon cupra.

Seat Geniune Pre face-lift FR front grill set (5 piece) - £30
LCR Front Splitter(cut to fit Ibiza already) - £10
Of course postage would have to be added but i dont think it would come to much as its all plastic and weights next to nothing.

I'm trying to just get it roadworthy for the moment for a s cheap as possible , had few problems with it. The spring snapped and now it's in need of a new Cambelt

Hi, just went out for a drive today and noticed that the fan switch is really stiff all of a sudden, the other two switches (which direction for it to blow and the temp one move easily) but the power switch has become very stiff and was wondering how to fix it? Thanks

Got some more stuff done to it recently, will try and get some pics done tonight or tomorrow.

- Aero Wiper blades

- Chrome Vent surrounds

- Chrome gear surround

...and a service, not much to see but it had a fan belt change, oil change and sparks changed!
