Wheels offset..

Hi, sorry for asking such a n00b question but i have been offered a set off BBS CH's and i know very littel about wheel fitments etc.

I have a 1.9 tdi and was wondering if these 18" alloys would fit fine? The guy says they fitted his golf which was 5x110 so would there be any point in getting these?

what mark of golf were they off? mk2 Leons are 5x112 so if the BBS' were 5x110 you can get them to fit with wobbly bolts to take up the extra 2mm 5x110 etc. is the PCD and not the offset

5 x 110? Dunno why but i thought Mk5's were 5 stud with 112 pcd and Mk4's were 5 stud with 100pcd.
110 sounds like an odd VAG set up.

MK V Golfs are 5x112, same as MK2 Leon
MK IV Golfs are 5x100, same as MK1 Leon
MK3 Golfs are either 5x100, or 4x100
and MK1&2 are 4 stuf as well

So the OP's "guy" has definitely got it wrong.

What Artoir has said is spot on, maybe he didn't measure them correctly, or was told the wrong pcd in the first place?

i am thinking of getting 18s on my leon fr mk2. i was thinking of some sort of polished alloy because the car is red any tips on websites?

Centre caps are handy got on ebay mate. Saying that I'm still running VW ones At least they're sprayed white though so can only be seen when close

They're off a mk 4 and thanx for clearin that up dave lol!

gezmeister im not too sure but he corrected me and told me 5x100 last night!
