how do you detach the aerial from an LCR??

it just unscrews and tilts :S

unscrew it, fold it down. Stand behind the car, one hand on the base, one on the aerial and pull, HARD.

it is the "anti-theft" feature.. yank it!!

yeah apply pressue on the roof around the base and pull hard, feels like you will break something but it will come in the end

Stand to the side, unscrew and tilt down, pull it outwards and wiggle it back and forth. Mine came out easy.

You've got to be quite forceful with it. Don't be afraid of breaking it (he says!), it's pretty sturdy.

if your wanting to replace it with a stubby one, dont bother, the reception i got from my C2 Stubby aerial was pants!

I've replaced it with a C2 Stubby one and haven't had that much of a drop in reception

Same here! i just put one on last week and you cant get anything at my house now. Looking at maybe getting a booster but not sure the effectiveness of them
