Mk5 edition30 exhaust fit the cupra?

Just a quick Q,

Is the mk5 ed30 exhaust the same as on the cupra, apart from the tailpipe design. Would an aftermarket ed30 exhaust fit on the cupra?

the floor pan and mounts might be the same but there will no doubt be some form of obsticle.

Hi i dont think the mk5 golf exhust fits the cupra becuase when i wanted the APR RSC system which fits the mk5 fine but didnt fit on the cupra

errrr miles away sorry mate, edition 30! I had R32 in my head cause I didn't see a point swapping the ED30 and Cupra for either cosmetics or performance!!??

The APR thing was something to do with the size of the backbox, didn't fit behind the rear bumper.

I've seen a cheap ed30 exhaust pop up quite cheap so just wondered if it would fit on the cupra

i think they are the same until the split above the rear "axle"

think the one he has seen must be a performance , eg miltek or blueflame.

I was under the same impression mate, my advice would be to ring Milltek directly and ask if the system will fit.

Yeh i have seen a blueflame tbe for the ed30, also I'll get a link up soon, I think it sounds different than a cupra with a blueflame. I'm sure the guys with a blueflame could tell me

Its almost the same. Just that the leons bumper is about 10-15mm longer so the ED30 pipes would sit in too far and melt away the bumper.
