Re: Platinum Leon FR TDI - a new edition to the family

Assume the position lol
You know what Mel is like Rodger...

She has been very good, been driving it and I was sure it was going to be a battle at first.

the leon makes the beeza look like an mpv 4x4 jonny

as for the new ones they are nice , had a looksy in seat last week

convinced the workforce down the seat route

manager is going for the leon ecomotive , other guy is going for the exeo ST

as for the mk2 leons Seat put alot more thought into building it with all the little additions , like the cubby holes in boot , etc

nice write up too :)
Yea exactly what we said. hehe.

New Leons have improved in areas in terms of equipment levels etc...they just let me down on styling however I do like the new LCR albeit its quite expensive.

Be interested in your mpg figures following Chris and his dad's A3 1.6CR TDI.

36mpg in granny mode.

I do like the looks of the Mk5 tbh. She looks pretty compared to the likes of the Polo and Fabia (definitely the ugly sisters)

Polo looks like a golf which is a good thing but they are similar looking cars imo.

Interesting about the A3 1.6CR...it does sound low. Like I said the Ibiza was returning amazing mpg figures all of yesterday and the engine hasnt bed in yet. The build quality of the mk5s is a massive leap forward on previous ibiza's. Comparing it directly to the mk1 Leon I would argue it is better put together but the leon has higher quality materials so even themselves out.

Re: Platinum Leon FR TDI - a new edition to the family

begin the countdown for another fantastic preparation. :D

in a few days, already owns cupra kit, lower, and some extra quality, as is expected from you.

good luck with the new machine!

Re: Platinum Leon FR TDI - a new edition to the family

Maybe after a year has passed she will let me do it but definately not down. She is very aware of remaps etc..after seeing what i gone through with my car.

The sooner its done, the cheaper it will be (costs only go up) and the greater the savings (mpg) throughout ownership.

It just makes so much sense.

Remember thought its not to be Mazzed.

Re: Platinum Leon FR TDI - a new edition to the family

At the end of the day its the Mrs car and I dont want to tempt any issues with it as I will be the one who has to sort it out. Its runs superb as it is - 105bhp is plenty for a small car like that.

Re: Platinum Leon FR TDI - a new edition to the family

... but imagine what would happen with 140bhp Maz ....

;-D
