cheers buddy

had to buy a new brake light, but all in, the spoiler cost me £30 delivered, the brake light £40 delivered (kudos Dave @ sere) and £60 painted and fitted, which I think was money well spent and bloody good value to boot.

it does, caught a glimpse of me car in a gym mirrored glass, and it looked so much better,

hows yours coming along?? am i right in saying your looking into one of the aero kits??

dont want to hijack your thread mate. had it ordered but unfortunately the rear bumper doesnt fit a pre facelift so had to cancel the entire order. lookin at buyin some small accessories now.

did you tell me before that when buying tt pedals, you should get an accelerator for a left hand drive car???

pitty, those kits do look awesome, i was going to say get some pics up as i havent seen them on a red car, you should still buy the kit for the other bits then sell the rear bumper and exhaust then buy one of the cupra bumpers or see if dave would swap the cupra bumper for the kit one??

yeh the TT pedals need the left hand pedal, £13 near enough from an Audi dealer

not worth the hassle mate. the closest i could sell that rear bumper is Northern ireland, a good 400 miles away. think i might just get all cupra bumpers eventually.

thanks for the info. do you know why??

Quality looking car! Checked out the pictures of the Cupra spoiler as well and it is starting to grow on me!

Would really suit a C2 aerial, will be the best fiver you ever spend ;)

Re: thePHILosiphers FR TDi

cheers mate, £5 you say  i'll be havin one of them.

on another note, fitted some new bulbs, decided to try the ring 100% as my driving lights went, bulbs are really good much whiter, decent value at £12 delivered for 2 and will do as a stop gap until some HID's in the latter part of the year, shame they are currently angled down and i cant get to the adjuster thanks to my claws for hands

Re: thePHILosiphers FR TDi

I think it's a bit hit and miss whether the reception worsens, most people say not, but it did with mine. However I very rarely, if ever, use the radio so it's form over function for me!

How do you find the Pipercross as opposed to the original? I've just ordered a Green panel replacement. :)

Re: thePHILosiphers FR TDi

i found the engine revved a little quicker but its hard to tell as i had the remap done at the same time, so i dont entirely know if its map or filter related but still a definate improvement of the standard one.

Re: thePHILosiphers FR TDi

Took me literally ten seconds to remove and fit my new aerial, unscrew the old one stood from behind the car, lean it towards you at a 90 degree angle and give it a good pull, should come loose though you may need to keep pulling hard for a few seconds. Then just screw the new one in :)

Pics before and after once done? :)
