Hmm yeah, I think i'll ask them for the boot to see what happened to it as it shouldn't have gone this soon. Although i do know it had been fitted a bit badly by the guy who put it on. But he did it for free as he melted the perfectly fine original when he was doing the tracking.

you know you have a mk2 when you cant drink the last few gulps of a 2 litre bottle of coke when sitting in the seats without leaning the seats back. (try it!)

Got her back already :D, can't fault the garage they worked fast, welding looks tidy and the cv boot definately wasnt stabbed or anything.

You know when you have a Mk2 Ibiza, and you're really chuffed with it over long distance journies. Done 500 miles in a week, never missed a beat. It is a bit choppy on idle though! Keeps dipping. But it's fine when driving! Which is strange...

Or... you know when you have a mk2 Ibiza when you think that something as simple as changing a bulb in a side repeater is an easy job, then you end up snapping the little catch on it :(

you should plough into a lampost like mine has been and then you wouldnt need to worry about breaking it ;)

You know you have a mk2 when people don't realise my alloys are the optional extra sport rader wheels and actually came with the car!

You know you have a Mk2 when you spend hundreds fixing all the typical rot spots - sills, rear arches etc - only for them to be crumbling again five years later  But you can't bring yourself to hate it because it still brings a smile to your face when you push it on a demanding B road :D

You knwo you have a mk2 when if some idiot pulls out in front of you damaging your front bumper, grill, near side wing and cause scratches down side of car, it is classed as uneconomical repair!

Yeah i just found all replacement parts from ebay, same colour and all, only came to £100!! So i get something like 750 in my backpocket + whiplash, and that i belive can get me a 16v or a mk3 lol.

...and You know when you have a mk2 ibiza cause if you crash it or something you can fix it up on the cheap due to cheap replacement panels from fleabay.

You know u have a mk2 ibiza when u buy a crank sensor from andrew page and it doesn't startvthe car but u can replace what with a stealership one and works
