yeh the window seam so could be removed from outside but dont know hows it been donw without snapping them as the window needs to be down

Gutted for you mate. Reminds me of when someone nicked the chrome mirrors off my dad's A6 overnight... only £300 from the dealer to replace because they were electric, heated, chrome and what not. He didn't bother with the £300, just put the colour coded ones back on.
