any step by steps for painting the the charge pipe and mani?

take them both of its easyer and better mate the charge pipe is 10 mins to remove and the mani about half hour to a hour depends.you will need a new gasket if you take the mani of as well.but its up to you how you want to do it and how good you want the finish to be.:)

If you take the mani off you need new injector seals as well spray it on the car it's easy I put shets over the whole front end and stuffed paper down between the Mani sod taking it off it's just asking for problems , if it ain't broke don't try and fix it bla bla

Yesterday ive spent 1 hour and 1 litre of gunk to clean my engine bay. I must say looks miles better than it was (but still nowhere near your state of the art bays). Huge difference. But i still have a lot of dark grey stains on all the metal parts. I guess thats how alluminium looks like when it gets old. Do you get rid of them somehow? What do you use?

I used R222 autowash undiluted, it brought mine up really well. Very very good product :)

Some alu parts though will show their age, no matter how much cleaning you do.
