Not many differences but the cupra just seems so much more desirable! Im 20 now and on my fr insurance is 903 mods declared. I tried a cupra with just saying it was lowered and came back at 1750 :|
Its worth taking into account that the cars themselves are similarly priced in terms of buying and if you were to buy an fr, how much would you spend modifying it? If you are willing to spend allot, then if you think about it the double insurance is quite cheap if you were going to upgrade all the brakes, exhaust, front mount, re-map's etc on the fr as its already done on the cupra. All the cupra needs doing is coilies, rear anti-roll bar and a decent map and your pretty much sorted.
Only reason i held back and got an fr is because i didnt have the 2200 at the time in cash to pay insurance and because the cupras dont come in candy white and i found a minter candy white fr
