Airvent gauge pod

Well I made my airvent gauge pod but I don't like how it pokes out then I broke it so I either need to make it again or does anyone know if I can buy one

knock yourself up a blanking plate mike. a nice matt black sheet of plastic. rip out the vent completely. cut it and sand the plastic to fit how you want it and mount it in there.

would look loads better imo

Or Mike you could get another vent and cut it further into the vent?

I was looking at getting some more fibre classing over them make the hole so it fits flush but also looks semi standard just hard to do thinks like this lol I loose my patients easy soldered my hand twice yesterday lol

I actually know a place I can get a few cheap kits hmm never fibreglased before any know how easy or hard it is

Once you get the overall shape right it shouldn't be too bad, then sand it down

i could just use the vent as a base then fibre glass over it hmmmm L

fibergalss is messy, but its fun aswell. i once stuck my glasses to my hand with resin hehe

but seriously it is really easy, the hardest bit is getting the hardner amount correct. but as arun said. you can make it as round as you want and then just sand it through to perfection.

your giving me ideas now hehe.........
