aha, i guess they cost :D
but at the end i think it would be worth ;)

yeah, spent more on my BBS RM's (both sets) but I really like these, not seen much, but not rare neither :)

shhh you :p
yeah will look awesome, time to try and find cheap tyres lmao

Caught myself shopping for Bora's now. Can only think of this thread as inspiration!

Think a Tolly 130 would just edge one still.

haahah, you, arun, and a few friends now all want a bora, they are awesome, practicality, without being absolutely massive, boot big enough to fit 4 x BBS RM's with tyres on, and a halfords professional toolkit and loads of other bits!
gets 40-50mpg most times around town (more constant speeds)
and 60mpg on motorway

and if you get a newer one, tax is dirt cheap (went down 2000 IIRC)

tbh I never liked the tolly's looks, nor the size (it is bigger than the bora, its more "passat" sized)

EDIT: I stand corrected, the Bora is actually wider than the tolly, tolly is longer, but same height, tolly slightly heavier :)

got the wheels to powdercoaters, feeling all good

drive out, about a mile, then BOOM....pulling to the left

"wtf was that?"

passenger front spring snapped :(

don't wanna get it done, as its gonna cost towards my coilies fund, but need it done, still drives fine, minus the left lean lol

Update

Had a broken spring, and needed a service
I got a set of standard springs/shocks for pennies, and got all the service parts a while back
so all got done today
she was real good in snow, minus getting stuck right by my house, went home, got a shovel, and now she's back on the drive :D

wheels went powdercoaters, 2 were mint, 2 were not, so made him redo them (that was on friday) he said will be ready tuesday.
got a call when I was driving to the garage they were ready, and are now mint :)
time to save for all the bits :p
