ah i see the difference now & yeah the cupra is nice but i actually like the FR more  problem is though 95% of crashed bezzas are smacked from the front end meaning the two main parts i need are useless :(

Yep thats the only trouble lol. There is a few 'FR' grills nocking about on eBay. Its just the facelift bumper with honeycomb instead of 'slats' and a gray backing behind the number plate. I think anyway.....

You could probably pick one up primed for around £100. God know s how much it is to paint though. If your anything like me though youll say your going to do it then 5 months later your still logging into ebay to buy it :p

No point in the panel filter...Like 1-2bhp increase for £40+ for the filter and £50-100 on insurance...

If you want sound, go for an induction kit...

ah ok, with the induction kit though dont you have to take the top of the engine off or something??

ok update - something up with the engine :( was cleaning the seats today (cleaning them with a wet/dry vaccum) and left the engine running afterwards with the heats on full blast to dry out the interior. Anyway after about 15-20 mins their was a ratteling noise, got in revved it and she revved fine, but the then engine light started flashing.

started to drive her to the garage over the road and i had no power at all....wouldnt rev smoothly & would get to 10mph and judder and then go again then judder etc. so any ideas what the problem could be before the garage gives me a call? common problems seem to be the timing chain & the coil pack - possible causes?

not sure why this has happened as did a 240 mile drive last night from Harrogate to Bristol and she was fine on the motor (got to 100+mph at one point!) and nothing was wrong.....maybe the 100mph+ did some damage? but i have driven at 100+ before (late at night to see what she could do) and she was fine.

any help? :(

I was asked by the dealer to sort out a new timing belt (even though 1.2's have chains...) and Blanco, on SCN, told me that your model of Beeza may not have had the revised timing chain, and that it was prone to skipping teeth and becoming quite noisy. I'm probably completely wrong, but you could grab a cheap VAG-COM cable off the bay to check, or perhaps ask someone on SCN if they're in your area?

What do you reckon the bonus will be? 15% again, or maybe more? :D

Marksy, Mine has been doing this all of a sudden recently as well!

Does it feel like it wants to stall? My revs drop randomly to 500 when idling as well.

It seems to have improved a bit though and when i scanned it with vag-com got an error saying cylinder 1 misfire so i think it's either spark plugs or the coilpack. Strangely though coilpack 1 went just before christmas and i replaced it with a cheapo one. It doesn't feel as bad as the time before christmas it wnet though, maybe it is just slightly broke? lol

First time the car made me feel sick it would literally shake when idling

Basically got a call from the garage and the coil pack & coolant temperature sensor have packed up....hence the engine problems. Getting fixed now but not sure of the price. :)

Also yeah that's what my problems were - got it in the main road to the garage and it would only rev to 2500 then drop, maximum speed I got was 10mph before the at juddered and slowed back down, like it wanted to stall.

Oh la la. 17% would mean ~£650 :D :D :D

Any news on the new bumpers/alloys? Or is that a bonus dependant job?

Still reckon facelift bumper, 17'' alloys and FR honeycomb grilles would make it look infinitely better :)

£800 job for me bonus wise :) & well yeah alloys and front end mods are bonus dependant because I have to pay my dad back for bailing me out the 1st time I had problems, get the bonnet sorted and paying for labour etc when getting fixed :(

Cam chain, not belt ;)

You MIGHT not have to get a new chain as it's designed to last the life of the car, but as yours is before the revised chain, you may have to....They are £300+....

Bonus % released in 8 days :D :D :D
