Thanks chap. I really didn't know what wheels to go for so thought sod it get them painted up as i quite like the design - apart from cleaning the buggers.
they were a pain to clean i got rid of mine cause i felt like it made my car look older i wanted it to lookm newer tbf but i did love the way it sat

I've got those wheels, severely in need of a refurb though.
It just shows how when painted in the right colour, and lowered and spaced to match, how well those wheels can look on these Ibizas!

My car is booked in for its custom map at p-torque to take into consideration the recent hybrid turbo and fmic etc
D day is 14th march
So got a few weeks to wait but hopefully the wait will be worth it

Well today i did some work on the tdi.
Hmmm a few bits and bobs missing here:
Ahhh there she is:
Ever since i fitted the Hybrid turbo the Turbo outlet pipe has sat very close to the driveshaft, i had the car up on the ramp the other week and the driveshaft had rubbed slightly on the pipe.
I planned just to slack the housing bolts off and rotate it slightly, but unfortunatly the 8mm bolts were bittle and started rounded as soon as i got near them. Turbo needed coming off and mole grips was the tool of the day. The pipe is well clear now !
And here are 2 pics i took when i popped in to p-torque earlier this week, unfortunatly Will couldn't map my car due to hardware issues but should be booked in shortly.

I decided to head to a near by shopping centre with the mrs on arriving we could smell oil so pulled in a space and noticed a split in the rubber hose on the turbo feed line and oil sprayed about.
I shortened the pipe and put it bk on took it for a quick run whilst i sent the mrs to the shops. It went pete tong when the pipe split again !! Oil light came on so switched engine straight off snd coasted into a free space. Oh dear oil everywhere !!
I had to make a quick run to halfords to get more fuel line hose, 5litres of oil.
Soooo to people at ***** **** shopping centre, im very sorry about the mess i made. Please accept my apology !

Clean bay after yesterdays incident !
Still need to get my upper strut brace bk on.

Today my car spent its day with Will at P-torque.
The day started at 7:30 when i dropped my car off and left for work :
I returned at 5:45 to be greated with this:
Oh yes shes a smoker !!
I was eager to find out my figures !!
241.2bhp and 346.8lb/ft of torque
I am very happy with the figures ! Just need to go enjoy it !

Not bad bhp figures at all! Torque is a bit down on what it could be though. But I suppose it's all about driveability. Keep us updated and enjoy!

Out of interest what figures did your hybrid make ?
Hybrids are good but you will need deep pockets if you plan to go down this route. I fell lucky with 2nd hand turbo and intercooler.

As mentioned, 360lbs/ft torque is easily possible, but in my opinion for the sake of an extra 13lbs/ft its not worth spoiling the very flat torque curve which held throughout the revs.
