Something else to think about, how are your brakes fairing??
300 horses could do with some good stopping equipment

Brakes are ok buddy they are standard but no wear warning lights yet lol.

Going ds2500 and ebc disc route maybe 2 piece 330m discs what you reckon? I will unleash the beast on brands hatch early next year.

I went down the 2 piece route and they are ferocious
If it will see the track you want DS2500 and some RBF600/660 minimum

Gauges vid no.2

A quick vid I got of a run in 4th gear yesterday. Was traffic in the way some stupid Astra got in my way so soon as I hit 1.7bar I had to ease off at the time. But just wanted to show you them in their working glory. I love them more each time I see them :)

New LED Numberplate bulbs, well Round 2!

Never buying eBay LED numberplate bulbs again anyway after they ended up doing a disco effect due to them not supporting the voltage of the car. Most on eBay do this by the way.

So.. I went for some off Ultraleds.co.uk and I'm really happy with them. Of course they need to stand the test of time and not go 'disco' on me and flicker, but I've got a good feeling about these on recommendation from a friend who says there should be no voltage issues.

Anyway, here's the pics I took for the RR update.

LED's:

Rubbish old yellow bulbs:

In with the new, with the connectors hanging out the bumpers a$$:

And installed:

Quick 3min mod to do after I got back from the gym, so easy you can do in the dark lol.

Also waiting for some more bits to turn up from Dave @ Sere Motors in the post either tomorrow or Friday.

p.s fantastic customer service in dealing with Dave this week! Highly recommended.

Cheers for looking. Bring on the new parts coming along soon.

Tom have you got a link where you got your gauges from and pillar :p

Were they difficult to instal?

Hi mate,

You will need to ask Sambryant on here. I bought them off him months ago. I think he got them from China, but they are sold on outlets on eBay.

He is after another set as it goes, so maybe you could do a group buy if others are also after boost/oil temp gauges. Pillar I'm not sure either, again ask Sam or he may post in here where he gets them.

In terms of installation, I couldn't of done it myself. My mate helped, and he has one of the best spec'd stage 2 LCR's going including boost/oil temp gauges. So he knew what he was doing and I lent a hand and went on a learning curve!! A bit of soldering involved but if you have no idea, then I'd really advise getting a hand from someone who does have experience with this kind of install.

Thanks for the reply mate. I'll PM Sam about them in the morning then mate. Gotta say your car looks quality to be fair and I'm loving those gauges. I bet your well chuffed with them!

My mates just bought a 07 plate Focus ST-2 and I'm jealous of his gauges so might have to pull this out of the bag lol.
