Very good result that mate. So then looking at yours and mine it would seem there is not much in it between stage 1 and 2 is there?

From the looks of it, I get a lot more torque, but a dip when the clutch disengages; you get 7bhp more around the top end

Was yours mode C mork? Jasons was on mode B. Looking at the 2 graphs JCs holds his torque for'longer at the'top end. However in al, fairness would 7hp even be noticable. Makes a TBE for£1100 seem ridiculous considering the gains over stage 1.

Looking at the results id say Jason doesnt have anything wrong with his car tbh, more likely that the alleged 230-240hp at stage 2 is completely unachievable without extensive additional mods
Where does that leave me though with my 1/4 mile performance at inters where a stock VRS (Loz) ran away from me. My car is seriously lacking top end me thinks.
Using mode C on a hot daywith the stock cooler would likely cause the car to retard boost or timing etc. I could feel mine dropping the day before which was about 10degrees cooler. The first pot of call is always to log your car. Look for fuel or boost failing to meet requested. Look for excessive timing pull etc. Would take no longer than 10 minutes to do. If you can get it done ill graph it all if you want

m0rk I'd love to know how you get the range and mpg one yours?? I picked mine up yesterday and filled it up only gave me 300 miles and 33avg mpg. Im not really booting it everywhere do you think it could be down to the fact that on test drives and that it was booted so the computer needs work it all out?
I love this! I see a blue cupra around my area quite a lot.. Looks mean as hell!! Mk5 Cupra would be a monster! What are the Mk5 cupras standard? BHP wise...

So a potential 420mile range just on my 12mile commute. Suggests a 38mpg average, which is what the computer calculates.
Smoothness, and just general traffic watching. I sit at the speed limit on the motorway (which is most of my drive)
