LCR great missfire mystery - help needed

Iv not got a clue about engines mate I got told that.
Cylinder 1 has oil in it that's why i have the misfire.
I got told I would need it all stripped out and get new pistons rings and valves. So I thought if im doing that I would get new rods as well.
If any can help me out on this it would be a great help.

Little bit more info as to whats happening
Car missfires at full throttle from 5k+, normally pop the codes random multiple misffires detected and missfire on cylinder 2, occasionally also get a missfire on cylinder 4.
I have also noticed if I accelerate on part thottle the car suddenly loses torque (when I'm driving I can feel a jolt and I continue to accelerate but not with the same torque as before) almost feels like the DV dumps or thottle closes slightly. I've serviced the DV in case something was sticking. I'm not running mega boost at the moment either, normally around 1 bar maybe slightly more.
I logged blocks 15 and 16 to show miss fires and sure enough it picks up the missfires mainly on cylinders 2 and 4 (get a rare one on 1 and 3 but 2 is always the highest followed by 4)
Oddly though when I experience the problem with part throttle there's nothing at all showing on the missfire counters.
I also logged the knock sensors and highest CF's I'm getting is 5.3 and these are fairly rare.
I was going to log block 031 next and the one for the throttle body (block 60?)
Any other suggestions?

Nope I never got that far dude...We seemed to think it was a Sticking lifter on cyl 4 as soon as it was warm/hot it was perfect...Even when cold after a few minutes of driving it would soon go away Oddly...
Have u checked the Injectors?
hrm, fuel pump relay is an odd one as it only brought up the code after I fitted a new one (although its a gsf one)
I'll put the old one back in on the weekend and see how it goes.

I was thinking is it possible the lambda sensor could be giving false readings? The logs look like the ecu is controlling the fuelling ok but what if its running on the lean side but lambda is reporting everything to be normal?

I'm getting to the point where I'm thinking replace fuel pump and replace vvt, after that there isnt much left apart from little things.s

I forgot to mention my mate many moons ago with a Ibiza cupra used to get a miss fire under wot or high rpm after many months of spending it was the fuel pump...

hrm, I tempted to bite the bullet with the fuel pump, its 7 year old car and it worth eliminating plus it'll be a bonus if I do more with the car in the future

Before spending £195 for a fuel pump get the fuel pressure tested on wot...sure bill can do something like this on the dyno

vvt imho next item.... fuel pressure was ok during the misfires when i was logging it
I have a spare 032A ecu now, same as yours is i think... if i do a defeat on it, it can be used to diagnose if ecu itself is playing up perhaps
