what have you done to your car today ?

I've got to agree, I fitted my cobra res system a few weeks ago, and the quality is excellent, Im an engineer by trade so see alot of metalwork and fabrication, the welds are top notch! As for the sound, its suits me down to the ground just a nice grumble on tick over and similar when driving normally. When giving it some its got a nice sporty tone. I noticed today that when releasing the throttle its got a nice little burble to it now its "coked" up.

Hope this helps others in a similar boat.

Say if i got a decat exhaust would my engine lights come on?? because my mate has a exhaust and hes got the emissions light on and his car cuts itself out some times!

The EML would come on. Mine seems to come on when ive been sat in traffic a while.
Gonna get the 2nd lambda mapped out at stg2 though
It has never cut out though.

i had a go at fitting my downpipe and decat but gave up with not having much room to work with as i started to undo the nuts but they got really tight towards the end so im gonna give it another go soon with some wd40 as i didnt want to snap anything.
also picked up my coilovers so im gonna have a go at fitting them too.
so a busy day achieving not much at all lol.
 
I got my car back today after the engine mounts broke after the daft company didnt change the bolts after replacing the timing belt which cost them 1,000 for new gasket and the rest :D
 
I fitted a new poly gearbox mount, new pre cat la,bda sensor, fixed some plastic undertray gaurd which was threatening to come off and serviced her.. Much heathier feeling now.
 
Well after I tiled the bathroom the postman delivered a few things :D
Got 15mm spacers & longer bolts, a set of longer locking bolts and a set of 5 'FR' badges to fit onto my centre caps:

Fitted my ebay bargain Forge 007, those std DV retaining clips, what a nightmare to get off!!

Took car for a spirited run and seems to run the same other than MPG has gone up?!? My last Cupra was great on fuel & this one poor in comparison, but after forge fitted mpg is as good as last one, happy days!

Dodgy std DV poor mpg?
