I've been looking at having the wheel alignment checked, as I think it's slightly off (when the steering wheel is straight, the car goes slightly left).

I am possibly taking my car into the dealer to have something looked at under warranty, would this be something the main dealer can do for me?

I'm not massively up on wheel alignment, and this may sound stupid, but:
A) are all of your tyres at the same pressure? and
B) is this consistent on all roads? (i.e. you've not been driving on a road with a bit a camber, have you?)

If yes to both, then you'll lose nothing by trying to blag a main dealer into it...but I'm not sure they will do. Worth a pop!

Cleaned the air filter and housing etc and tried to ascertain, by searching the forums, whether my engine sound was normal for these particularly noisy 2.0T FSI engines!?

http://gfxcore.net/cars/LeonFR/Video0013.3gp (May need VLC player or alternative to play)

Video clip is above but just recorded with crappy phone so not greatest quality, around about 0:05 seconds and 0:31 seconds is the noise that sounds a bit like metal tapping on metal... the injector tick etc does not bother me!

If anybody could give their input that'd be great :)

Today we took a little drive down to Lepsons so that the wheels could get a nice new touch of war paint.

Mine sounds the same. It is a noisy beast and I do sometimes wonder how much of it is "normal"

I now also have crickets in my aircon it seems...
