Leeds/West Yorkshire Member Needed for Door Sill Development

***Just to Clarify that I am not starting a Group Buy of Any Kind****

Not long ago we gave a request to Lockwood International to make some Custom Steel Door sills for the MK2 Leons and they agreed to make them for us but needed a member to go to them and get the car door sills measured so they could start producing them.

There was alot of interest back then and I think there would still be an interest now for these.

So I kindly ask if someone is free near to them if they could go and get the car measured. They say the car would be needed for around an hour. V0id on here tried but due to working he was not able to meet those needs.

If you could contact them first and state that they had interest from members from here about a Leon MK2 then they should know.

And do we know what sort of coat we're looking at for the end result?

Regarding designs, I am not aware but maybe the member who goes down to them can suggest the SEAT LOGO on all with either FR/CUPRA/SPORT/LEON along with it.

I believe there were no changes to the actual chassis, just cosmetic adjustments such as the headlights and front bumper aswell as the interior and new CR engines.

Yh along those lines would be great, thats my point of view

I'd like to have it say LEON on it but others may prefer having CUPRA or FR? Maybe an idea to start a poll? One thing I would say is that if there was lettering embossed or stamped onto the metal it would need to be in the actual SEAT font otherwise it would look tacky IMO. Don't know if this will be a copyright infringement issue though...

They've already measured a Mk1 by the sounds of it, so we're well on the way to having a full house !
Long and short is that they don't do weekends ... But never fear...As I've had more than my fair share of help from all of you on this forum, I'm going to arrange an afternoon off to go over to Leeds and have the templates made. My way of saying thanks

It it fails then I would just go with the SEAT logo with SEAT written alongside or maybe just a line like you stated or even plain and people could get them custom engraved themselves
