Does anybody have any tips or tricks on how to remove the pressure switch? I know it just unscrews but i cant get a good grip with anything because access is so tight.

If you are referring to the pressure sender located next to the radiator on the drivers side then I used a 17mm crows foot on the end of an 450mm ratchet extension to loosen it. It's a bit of a pain in the arse but can be done.

Thank you very much! Just got it sorted (a mate had a set of crows feet spanners). Managed to get the switch replaced, but not sorted the problem. Hope it's not the compressor that's gone.
Managed to get it done at an air con speclist for £138 all in, part, fitting and regas. working better than ever now - so my system must of needed a regas anyway

i had the "clutch failure" on the compressor, was able to diagnose by seeing the centre bolt not turning on the compressor pulley when the engine was running, then if you try and tighten the bolt with the engine off the compressor spins free from the pulley and it won't tighten. The splines wear on the "clutch" part due to the bolt loosening a bit over time, so it won't work. The dealers and air-con specialist will say it needs a new compressor for mucho dollars. But, there are companies out there that make the "clutch" part and it was fairly simple to fit on the car with no re-gas needed, only cost £30 for the part and a couple of quid for some loctite.
