Well after a year of having the arosa decided it was time for something a bit more bigger and better for the run to work on the motorway etc.

soo here it is:

Bought it back in febuary with just 68k on the clock.

Pretty standard just now, upgraded the wishbone bushes to the mk4 ibiza cupra ones. and changed the front grilles and painted th centre of the bumper technical grey:

only plans just now are to tidy the body work as there is a few niggles and refurb the alloys.

yeah its a pd130 , really liking the colour of it when its actualy clean, unlike just now lol.

not really any updates on this just now, got fog lights wrapped with yellow tint film.

needs a bit of tlc just now as i kind of lost intrest in it. currently missing a foglight grille as it went walk about one night, needs a side resprayed due to parks making a dogs dinner of it

got this off lawrie to put on once its been tidied up

and a set of audi pepperpots for winter and to sit it on while my wheels are away to be refurbed

plans are to get the alloys refurbed, get the paintwork tidied up, and mabe coilovers and a whiteline rarb

GET ONTO PARKS ABOUT THE DAMAGE!! If you keep banging on about it to them they will get it all sorted. I've been there and done that with parks, they eventually get it all sorted but are honestly one of the worst car companies ever!! #rant

decided against it as they made a mess of it once, plus made a mess of the arosa. I do agree the aftersales is absolutely shocking. They done a starter motor on it, and with in the hour had the aa out to fix it as all the wires came loose while i was driving along. also trying to get a warrenty claim for my heated seats being faulty and not working is a nightmare as theywant the car back in for further investigations which could run into a couple of hundred quid if its down to human error. not quite taking that risk yet lol. basically happy to take your money but when it comes to a complaint they dont want to know.

do you get a courtesy car when you go in? If so, do they charge you for it? Tell them straight that if they don't get it sorted your contacting the managing director. The heated seats, i'm not sure how the warranty lies with them - they use an external warranty company that they claim from when you take it in for a fault, it might not cover them. As for the alternator breaking like that, i'd be wanting comp for that kind of error. Their bodyshop is in EK and can produce good work if you make them aware (several times) that you expect a perfect job, otherwise the courtesy car will be remaining with you. In the end up with me, they knew i was a nightmare so had to sort it properly or they knew i'd be on the phone to the big boss :/

yeah i get a courtesy car free of charge. im also fussy when it comes to paintwork, so just decided to take the hit and get it done by a guy i know. it has been in and diagnosed that the elements need replaced, so it turned round and to book it in they said they want in for a full days investigation. its just silly wee things that they do that kinda make you worry what your sealing with sometimes. was raging about the starter motor and went straight back into them with all the paperwork from the aa and they could really say much about it. when i phoned to chase them up about my warenty claim they said "yeah the mechanics still looking over your car to see whats wrong with it"....."thats funny, my cars sitting outside my house" plus hassle i got with the arosa was shocking, cant really complain when they bought it off me for £1500 know all to well they were taking a massive loss on it.

Yeah, just refuse to pay the fee for the courtesy car lol. Yeah they're bad for lying, mines had a leak into the cabin, was there for over a week and they did nothing to it, meanwhile i wrote off their brand new courtesy car

yeah they knew there was no chance of me paying for it after giving them back a car they sold me weeks earlier haha. I would say lies, just in general incompetince i would think. had to send my arosa to w.livingstones to be cheked cause there own mechanics never has a clue. I can bet that went down well with them haha.

was away getting tidied up this week, got the front bumper painted, strut bar painted and fitted, passenger side painted, and few other wee touches

next up for is it a good clean as its absolutely mingin haha

Really like this very tastefully done and it has character. are you going to change the colour of your wheels once they are in for refurb? and gun metal grey or anthracite would look good against the blue. keep up the good work

personally wouldn't go with the polished lip, doesnt wear well and looks tacky IMO
