Yellow and purple Chris? what happened to diamond cutting and all that jazz.. Sounds much better than the purple looks imo..

lol its only the standard wheels that are getting done in purple

the merc rims are still going the same route , but as there are not many shows and entered in tatton park next month was quicker to refurb the standards as adapters could take up to 2 weeks and same on the wheels then leaving me only a few days / hours to get the tyres

they will be done this year

also the purple is a flip , cadbury purple and dark blue , the mrs said baby blue but  then looked into candy red then this in house mix we made just said :p:p
:p

Some 1500 grade wet sand paper will give them mirrors an awesome finish, did my old yellow ones black and got a perfect glass like finish on them ;)

also finally got round to fitting the 3" downpipe , after 3 hours managed to make it so it clears the bulk head and does not rub anywhere :)

I see your hard work paid off mate, purple looks better with the car than i thought.

Car feel quicker with 3"dp?

Mine did right through the rev range

How did the downpipe fit with the extra bit welded in?

Having mine done in couple weeks just deciding how much extra pipe to put in

Did you have to cut the end of the pipe off aswell? (where it joins centre pipe)

put a 6" piece in just after the turbo flange , we also warmed it up and flattened it out abit where it comes close to the bulk head just for a bit more clearence so a 7" section may work better

as for the part where it steps did not chop it 1st time round left it , 2nd time chopped it off its in that much on the miltek centre pipe now ( as i removed the centre box ) that it does not need a clamp on :D
